Insurance & Payment Methods:

At Johnson Chiropractic & Holistic Health Center, we offer many different payment options for our patients.  We accept most health insurance plans as well as worker's compensation, and auto insurance claims.  We also work with many patients who have no insurance coverage as well.

We also work with auto accident, worker's compensation (employer approval necessary), and personal injury insurance / settlements.  

Medicaid (aka Missouri Health Net) does not cover services provided by a chiropractic physician in the State of Missouri 

*Medicare only will pay for 80% of chiropractic spinal adjustments in the treatment of acute injuries or acute flare-ups of chronic injuries.  Other services such as examinations, acupuncture, physiotherapy, nutrition, or maintenance care must be paid for out of pocket by the patient.

No Insurance / Self Pay

Patients who don't have insurance find our care to be an affordable part of their health plan.  The cost of the first visit largely depends on the following considerations: 1) how severe your problem is, 2) the complexity of your condition, 3) and if X-rays are necessary to safely care for your problem.  Dr. Johnson can give you an idea of your cost after the initial consultation.  Schedule a Free Initial Consultation ** to find out what your financial responsibility may be. Payment Policy: Payment is due in full at the time of service.  Fees are not negotiable. Non-payment can result in collection proceedings and credit reporting.  Our clinic assumes no financial liability if a health insurance plan or other paying entity fails to pay completely for care rendered. 

Payment Plans:  In the past we offered the convenience of patients being able to break the cost of a visit up over several visits into a "payment plan".  However, as the saying goes, "one can ruin it for the rest of the group".  After having a few different people break their promise to pay us for services rendered, we cannot offer payment plans anymore.  In lieu of a traditional payment plan, we do accept most major credit cards and patients are welcome to pay us in full with their credit card of choice, and then they have the option of making payments on that credit card if they so choose.  Thank you for your understanding!
